LEE HAS BEEN A STRUCTURAL DESIGNER FOR OVER 24 YEARS HAVING WORKED IN IRELAND, UK, MAINLAND EUROPE & ASIA. STARTING AS A TRAINEE DRAUGHTSMAN WORKING AS AN RC DETAILER. HE GAINED VALUABLE EXPERIENCE SERVING HIS APPRENTICESHIP IN BRIGHTON. LEE THEN MOVED TO LONDON WORKING FOR LARGE MULTI-DISCIPLINARY COMPANIES ON LARGE SCALE PROJECTS. DURING HIS TIME IN LONDON HE MOVED OVER TO STEEL DETAILING WORKING ON PHARMACEUTICAL,INDUSTRIAL AND OIL AND GAS PROJECTS, FOLLOWING THIS, LEE THEN MOVED TO CORK, IRELAND, AGAIN WORKING ON PHARMA AND INDUSTRIAL PROJECTS. IN 2014 LEE FORMED STRUCCIE DESIGN ASSOCIATES. LEE IS ALWAYS KEEN ON PICKING UP NEW WAYS OF WORKING OR USING NEW SOFTWARE TO KEEP HIM AT THE TOP OF THE CURVE WITH THE TECHNOLOGY THAT IS USED WITHIN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY TODAY.
David has been a structural engineer for over 30 years, having both worked in the UK and Europe. Having started his career in Manchester working for consulting engineers he moved across the UK working on various different projects from Nuclear, industrial and oil and gas projects. Davids strengths are with numbers but also being a logical and analytical engineer, he is a valued member of the Struccie Design office. David joined the team in 2017 and in this time has worked on many different projects utilising different materials such as steel, concrete and timber. If you work with David we are sure you will appreciate his hand sketches! David has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to structural analysis. He also has professional association with The Institute of Civil Engineers, The Institute of Structural Engineers and also the Engineering Council.
